Educator and painter, Jerry Michalak resides in the Hudson River Valley. He began as a representational landscape artist, working and exhibiting in upstate New York. Jerry studied with “Hudson River School” artist, George Wexler and with “Modernist,” Alexander Minewski. He continued with his post-graduate work at SUNY New Paltz, where he studied with “Abstract Expressionist” Joop Sanders. Much of his career has been devoted to teaching, as well as oil painting and photography.
