Tommy Zurhellen, The Low Road: Walking the Walk for Veterans

In the summer of 2019, Tommy Zurhellen walked 2,866 miles across America alone, to raise awareness of veteran suicide and veteran homelessness in our country. In the exciting memoir that chronicles his adventure, The Low Road: Walking the Walk for Veterans, you can “walk the walk” alongside Tommy and follow his epic journey from start to finish during his presentation.
Tommy Zurhellen is an Associate Professor of English at Marist College, and an award-winning author. His short fiction and essays have appeared widely in literary magazines such as Carolina Quarterly, Quarterly West, Passages North, The MacGuffin, and more. Tommy is also co-host of the popular writing podcast, Fiction School.
Registration is required to participate. Participants will receive a zoom link prior to the program.
