Join us at the Marlboro Library as Master Gardeners from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County, Skip and Diane Carlson, host a lively discussion on growing a garden in the Hudson Valley. Topics covered during this presentation will include how to read a seed packet; selecting what to grow; growing your own plants and starting seedlings; garden preparation – selecting a plot, till/no-till, soil preparation, planting; extending the season; and the effects of climate change and how to mitigate it in your garden.
