How do you rewrite your life’s script after suffering a massive brain tumor? On Tuesday, July 16 at 7:00 p.m. local author, Janet Schliff, will talk about her life changing experience described in her book, What Ever Happened to my White Picket Fence?
A special education teacher for 25 years, her abilities began to fade away with no medical explanation. OCD behaviors wreaked havoc on her much-loved teaching career. The discovery of a brain tumor led to surgery, erasing the odd behaviors, only to be replaced by a different set of lifelong challenges due to her injured brain. Hear Janet’s inspirational story and adjusting to life afterwards.
