Award-winning writer and educator Laurence (Larry) Carr will mentor a 90-minute poetry workshop that focuses on writing short-form poetry. Part of this session will examine how we address the natural world, and the current trend in eco-poems. Participants will discuss ideas and images and try several forms in a short free-write session. He will also discuss his nature and ecology poems and the poets he publishes in his Lightwood Magazine.
