Enjoy the beautiful scenery of their working landscapes, wildlife and better quality of life.
MMiM’s efforts in sustaining agriculture through agri-tourism will create economic strength for local businesses.
Our farmers face tremendous challenges, both from global competition and from increased pressures to use their land for other purposes such as housing developments. But there is some good news, as a number of innovative farmers are finding successful ways to stay profitable and productive.
So please join us in our efforts.

This year we plan to expand on our successes and help the group to become even more effective by:
- Promoting Marlborough as a prime destination for tourists in the region.
- Educating about the importance of buying local.
- Understanding Marlboroughs unique topography, rich soil and how it contributes to the higher quality of produce grown here.
- Overall, strengthening our economic engine, thereby helping to sustain our agricultural community.
Therefore, we invite all members to our general meetings.
We strongly encourage them to take part in one of the groups committees, lending their talents and abilities towards the coordination of the alliances goals.
As a volunteer organization, participation is vital.
