On Friday, April 29th from 9:00-11:00 am, Residents of the Marlboro School District can protect themselves from identity theft and get rid of those old documents and folders all at one time! Bring them down to the Library to have them put in the shredder truck and destroyed safely in seconds. This event is first come, first serve, with a three bag/box limit per person. The shredder truck will be parked in the Library back parking lot.
Acceptable Items for Shredding: Paper (white or colored), file folders, staples and paper clips, plastic ID cards, credit cards, old checkbooks, empty prescription bottles, carbon paper, cds, dvds, and computer disks.
Unacceptable Items for Shredding: Hazardous material, prescription bottles, syringes or needles, or any heavy metal objects such as nuts, bolts, metal plates, or hard drives.
