Lydia Adams Davis, Susan Bozsó & Sharleen Leahey perform on June 2 at 1:30pm — HerStory: Songs of Brave Women
Marlboro, NY – On Sunday, June 2, at 1pm, Hudson Valley singer/songwriters, Lydia Adams Davis, Susan Reid Bozsó & Sharleen Leahey, will perform traditional and original folk songs for this unique program dedicated to women in American history.
Lydia Adams Davis, a recording artist and singer/songwriter brings the history of folk music to life in North America and France. Her repertoire includes original songs and traditional ballads by masters such as Stephen Foster, Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and Hoagy Carmichael. Susan Reid Bozsó’s 30+ year career as a singer, musician, and songwriter spans a variety of musical traditions from classical to American roots music to world music. She loves sharing the meaningful power of music with her audiences.
Sharleen Leahey writes, sings and records passionate music for personal and planetary transformation. She performs at festivals, libraries, schools and works with activist communities struggling for peace, human rights and environmental justice. For more info- http://www.rumorsofpeace.net.
