MaArCo: Marlborough Arts Coalition, in conjunction with the Ulster County Legislature and Sarah Hull Hallock Library, will be Celebrating our country’s 250th anniversary by hosting an Agriculture and Arts Culture Jubilee at Prospect Hill Orchards on In a twist on MaArCo’s annual Open Studio Tour, this event will be held in the Clarke’s barn and will include an Art Exhibition, local fare from our farmers, Art Demonstrations, Plein Air landscape Painting, a Beekeeping Demonstration, and Live Music.
From 5 to 8 pm Friday night there will be a party, with the opening reception of the Artwork, speakers celebrating the Agricultural history of our town, and Live Music provided by “The Borough”. On Saturday from 12 to 6 the Art Exhibition continues with Artist Talks, Demonstrations, and local agricultural vendors. Our artists will be painting Plein Air and giving demonstrations of their technique. There will be more speakers on the history of our area and Prospect Hill Orchards!
