Join us at the Marlboro Library on Thursday, October 12 at 7 pm for a presentation by local author, Anthony Musso, on his book Hidden Treasures of the Hudson Valley.
While mainstream historic sites in New York’s Hudson Valley such as the Franklin D. Roosevelt Home and Presidential Library and the Vanderbilt Mansion, both in Hyde Park, attract huge numbers of tourists every year, a number of relatively unknown yet historically significant locales in the region for the most part go unnoticed.
Musso will discuss these widely unknown and/or less traveled paths of treasures that exist in many communities throughout the region. Learn about the important role that the various sites played in some of the most profound events in local and national history.
Musso is the author of seven books, and following a 38-year career as a writer, editor and media spokesperson for the government, Musso is also a weekly columnist and freelance journalist for Gannett Newspapers’ Poughkeepsie Journal.
Copies of his book will be available for purchase. RSVP at marlborolibrary.org to let us know you are coming. Walk-ins welcome!
